Dettol as coat shine?

Has anyone heard of this? Apparently diluted in warm water and gives coat a wonderful finish. Hmm, wondered if this something anyone on here does?

Yes. It gets all the dust out of their coat. We would tend to use it after clipping to get rid of any dust in their coat. And it works really well.

yep! Works very economical, don't need much more than a dribble. Just cuts through the grease nicely

yep, used this on the chestnut and bay dressage horses! brought a lovely shine to their coats!!!

I tried this after reading on here put a tiny bit in the final rinse on a pony still in winter coat at the time and it worked a treat. very shiny ponie.
Also helps to keep midges away. Bonus.
