Don't know what's happened but my 8 month old has turned a corner. No longer biting at every opportunity, not hanging off my ankles everytime I walk into the room. Not jumping up constantly and knocking me flying, actually being quite obedient.

She is almost finished her first season and I do wonder if her calmness is due to this, she's being very loving, wanting cuddles all the time, not constantly irritating the life out of the other two.

Sighs - normality at last.

Ah, the joys of young GSDs - mine finally settled down at 24 months - getting their energy channelled into some sort of mental as well as physical exercise really helped.

Now you have seven months to get her into training for her BH

Your post reminded me of a conversation I overheard at our club a few weeks ago!

D: I don't know what to do, she is always mouthing me and biting and jumping up, she just wants to play all the time.
M: And what do you when she does that?
D: I tell her off but she runs away so I have to chase her around the living room.
M: So you play with her when she bites you, then? Lucky her!

(Bitch is now coming on super, owner was told to remove her quickly and silently from the room the minute she started the mouthing and every aspect of her training has now improved)

I know. She's so used to playing with the other 2 all the time, she obviously sees me as another dog & not the boss!!

Unfortunately I haven't had the time to take her to school at all. We did a few weeks when I first got her but nothing since then.

At last she'll realise her name's Darby and not "no biting"
