I use the granules as i think it's better value for money when you buy the big tub of Dodson & Horrell and also it seems to be more effective for my chap who has ringbone.
Hope this helps!
I can't use the liquid because my daughter is severely visually impaired and can't tell how much she's giving, or rather spilling. I was using the granules but have discovered that Whitehill Equine sell the powdered form. It's more easily absorbed than granules plus it works out cheaper as you don't have to use quite as much, 20 grams instead of 30.
Liquid is generally a lot weaker thah powdered form as for it to be liquid it is obviously diluted considerably. A lot of people think that liquids are far quicker to absorb when in fact this really doesn't matter. If you are feeding it at a set dosage per day what difference does it make if it takes 1 hour to absorb or 2 hours if you get my point! The only time a liquid is genuinly more beneficial is if you have a horse with digestion problems, it is easier for them to absorb as they don't have to break much down. Go for a powder every time. Much Stronger. Don't just go for the cheapest either they are often cheaper for a reason. Liquids are generally cheaper but again this is because they are weaker
