Not for the dog, but for the horse it worked a treat.

All animal supplements tend to be less concentrated than the human version so if you can find the human version, maybe try that instead.

We were recommended Trocoxsil recently for arthritis in our Springer: it's a once monthly tablet, better for him than Rimadyl, which seems to be the bog standard drug of choice and seems to be much more effective.

Last xmas our lovely very elderly samoyed bitch looked like she was on her last legs - literally; her arthritis was causing major problems for her. As a last resort, we tried Holland and Barratt Devils Claw capsuals. Wow! Within days she was bouncing and playing and just seemed so happy.
She is 13 now, and still on 3 tablets a day; as the weather gets colder and damper we may have to increase that to 4, but at the moment she is doing just fine.
Give it a go!

Have had my dog on it for about a month and have also had a good result. I use Equimins devils claw, its a horse one but says you can use it for dogs. Put him on it after he had an operation(pancarpal arthodises)(not sure on spelling) on his front leg after he tore his tendons and ligaments in his carpal joint as the pain killers from the vet made him quite ill!! He now uses his leg all the time, just has a limp as he cant bend his leg.
Are there any side affects to using it that you know of?

I buy human grade for my oldies, have 2 of them on it and it's fantastic! I get them from Healthy Direct and medium sized dogs get 4 tablets a day, works extreamly well.
