Does it work which is best the root, powder or liquid one of mine has very slight changes in hock and his looking a bit stiff, his on tumeric msm and linseed but I think it's the constant wet conditions and mud having an impact.

It works so well it's banned in competition :)

I would always use liquid because the amount of active chemical in it is standardised. Dry root I found more expensive anyway, and it can vary batch to batch.

There's some cheap Gold Label stuff on Viovet at the moment. Gold label stuff is always good.

I use the root version on my two but I've only just started so not sure how effective it is. My bone spavin horse gets very stiff in cold / wet conditions so when I bring him in I hose off the mud, dry him then put on leg wraps and hock boots to warm him up. He is usually much more cheerful after an hour. Supplement wise he gets linseed and Equimins Joint Flex. I think the key for my horse is keeping him moving and keeping him warm. I also have to keep him slim as any extra weight on the joints doesn't help either!

It's great stuff Pinks and really does work on Mr P's arthritic hock. I always prefer to buy the root but liquid apparently works faster.
Equimins do the root. Hilton Herbs , Equus ( think I got the last Equus lot from Supplement Solutions, they gave me some sweeities and a free soothing cream too !).
I chuck 15-20mg in each night with his turmeric mix. It takes a while to notice a difference but I swear by this combination. I do tend to ease him off it for the summer as it's so hot here and personally I think it's good to give a break if you can as it's a powerful herb.
Ps ,,, sending you some hugs too, are the boys well?. Shads is a little plump but on good form:)Mr P is his usual pesky self! xxxxx

I like gold label stuff too. They do or did this peppermint coloured shampoo that's amazing
I agree with you about the root quality varying Ycbm. I bought some from a new site and it was so dried out it looked like it had sat on a shelf for years. Not impressed at all and had to send it back. xxx
