We normally go on Thursday, but last few years I've been home again by 2pm..
I go to shop to be honest not to see the horses! (though I do always watch some of the classes, usually the hunter ones)
If you leave a reasonable time you don't end up in a massive queue to get out I find.
We went as a family last year on Saturday and it was busy getting out. We didnt watch many horse classes either, spent most of our time looking at things to buy and the dog show. I would quite like to see M + M judging this year. I love the welsh Ds. they make my spine tingle when they trot up.
might go but prob not as up to Glocs on sat afternoon so have to do horses first in the morning and working thurs and friday!
and of course thats why its started to rain now as it has to be a quagmire for Devon County! remember one year I competed the main warm up was under water (as was most of the secretaries area etc, so we had to warm up in part of the main arena instead which they fenced off with cones!!
