Diamonte browbands

Im considering buying a diamonte browband for when me and Gin are competing. We do aff dressage but do you think they are too 'chav'? No one seems to wear them anymore.

I really associate them with chavs the only people who have ever had them at my yard have also worn fake burbarry scalfs in winter and said the word "init" way to often!

get a kieffer (sp?) bridle!! Very flashy, but only just not chavvy...

I think it depends on the browband. Some of them look really nice.

My sister rides my mare and she has one, niether Summer or my sister are chavs!

I wouldn't have one for my boy though!

Sandy Phillips horse Lara 106 was wearing what looked like a diamante browband at the BD Champs yesterday...

...And they won the GP class. (Perhaps it was diamond-encrusted though)

It looks OK there, but mainly look a bit Chav imho

i think some go a bit OTT (roses and diamonds,or big rainbow sparkly hearts) but i think they look better on mares than geldings

Personally I cant stand them.
But if you like them go for it, taste is a very personal thing.

Doesn't look like it fits terribly well though! or could be the angle of her head

Our yards dressage rider (ben st john james) uses a diamante browband on his stallion Le Duc. Hate to admit it but i actually quite like them *ducks out the way of thrown vegetables* though rock would look way to poofy in it!

I have one for my mare but its too big, and also black, and my bridle is brown, and i don't to tack that doesn't match

I don't used a diamonte one, but a plain raised white brass one as my horse as a very plain face with no star. It adds something and so i don't think there chavvie - ONLY if use in the right environment

My horse has one, and i compete at BD Competitions. You see loads of them about affiliated. I think they look nice and not at all chavvy if the horse is going nicely and suits one.

My boy loves his bit of bling!! LOL!!

I have to admit yours looks nice in the photos...but it does actually fit, which is a start!

can't actually remember what I wrote lol

The only browbands I think are chavvy are those god awfull tiara things
