Diana Fitzsimmons from Ontario? (sp and current last name?)

Does anyone know her or is she perhaps even here somewhere? I seem to remember she married but don't know if she changed her name. No big deal, a couple of us ex- and long time- eventers were chatting over old times and my prospective move to England and through a process of association we got to wondering what had happened to her. So I thought I'd use the wonders of the internet and HHO to check it out.

(If you need a reference as to who I am, I had the slightly snakey bay horse, Valentino, that evented in the same class as your chestnut horse with the high white socks.

She is now Diana Burgess, and she taught me in pony club for many years. She is based in Hampshire now here in the UK, and still does riding/training. She produced Tamarillo !

Wow!!! Very cool.

Now that you say the name and the connection it does jog my memory. She was a lovely rider already when we were all much younger - very classical and precise - so I'm not surprised she's gone on successfully. Now if I can just remember the chestnut horse's name . . .

She is absolutely fantastic, and a brilliant producer of young horses, she does not do so much now since the birth of her son.
Oh and she also produced Two O Two as well who is doing about his 6th Badminton this year!

Was the chestnut horse the one that she did very well on? I remember seeing pics of her on a chestnut in her photo album doing big events.

Yes, a very pretty, lightish chestnut with high white socks but I can't for the life of me remember his name, despite the fact that I competed against him all the time . . . .

If you're talking to her give her regards from Southern Ontario. Many of the usual suspects are still around, doing their thing.
