Hi
I have seen a beautiful two year old by Diarado. I am a little bit in love with him but as I am looking for something for Dressage I was wondering if it is a bit crazy to buy something bred to jump.
I am waiting to find out the Dam line, but the two year old has a lovely loose walk and nice trot and good canter. Has anyone else used pure jumping pedigree for a Dressage horse.

Our last horse Renkum Raphael was bred to jump but had a lovely rhythmic trot and was very trainable. He went to BD winter champs every year from 5 to 10 one year doing 5 classes (2 spillers comb training, 1 music,1 natioal and 1 pet plan) He also did 1 summer champ.
We was a great horse to own and compete

My previous horse was by "Into the West" (Ramiro Z) out of a showjumping mare, and he couldn't jump a stick on the floor, but was an out and out dressage horse with buckets of power, fantastic paces and a very quick brain. So - Yes! Go for it, if you like the horse
