My cat has been kept in for the last month as we've moved house and I wanted to get her used to the new house before letting her out. This morning she did a really smelly, pale watery poo in the litter tray. She seems fine in herself but her tummy sounds really rumbly. Any ideas??

When our cat has diahorrea our vet told us to break open an Imodium powder capsule and mix half the powder into her wet food. It has always worked for us so far. Although we only do this if the upset has gone on for more than 24 hours.
You may have inadvertently brought a tummy bug into the house on footwear etc or she may be having a stressy day possibly ..........

I have a cat with a very dodgy digestion who often gets this. To bung her up a bit I feed boiled chicken which is very bland.
But then, I usually have some boiled chicken in the freezer, for the next time. I admit it's not something I'd expect everyone to have to hand!

I actually feed both her and the dog on Natural Instinct food. Have done for 2yrs and they look AMAZING! Daughter owned up to letting her drink the milk out of her breakfast bowl yesterday morning so no doubt that did it! Cheers guys!!
