some help needed please.
my 31 year old 12.2 pony has suffered with laminitis and now also has cushings (confirmed) my vet ,dentist and farrier have been out to him and he is on vitek 4 equids (cushings suppl.)and no bute for any arthiritis .he doesnt have very good teeth and cannot eat hay very well so we feed hi-fi lite as a replacement (i have to be careful re laminitis) he suffers from periods of bad diarrhea something my vet felt was teeth and age related. however it is becomming more of a problem i have tried giving bran which did help for so long but doesnt anymore. yogurt doesnt seem to do very much either. the general feeling from vet and dentist is its old age and not much i can do taking into account all his other problems. anyone got any suggestions? anyone tried brewers yeast i saw it suggested on a website but has anyone used it for diarrhea. sorry bit long but he has meny probs .thankyou for reading this.
