Did anybody make the xc time last night?

I couldn't stay awake until the end!

Just wondering, did any rider get home within the time allowed on the xc course?

No the closest person to make the time was WFT with 10 time pens.

No, not even close! WFP was fastest (10 time faults) for a long time but then someone went a little bit faster near the end... I was too tired to remember who!!

No. It was pretty evident from the get go that to get remotely near that time you would have to ride hard and to actually make the time you would have to ride at break neck speed, dangerously, thankfully no one did.

The time was just not obtainable.

thanks. yes, i thought the time was unrealistic from the off really, especially when the fast black horse (think the riders surname was vittoria?) had time faults. wonder why they set the time so tight, or do you think they (olympic committee) just got it wrong?

just seemed to invite rider error/risk taking to me.

I can't wait for the SJ - if it is anything like the XC it really will be a bit of a challenge and great to watch!

Think it was Shane Rose that got the fastest time in the end. WFP got 10 time penalties Shane Rose got 9.20.

I think the fastest time I saw was 8.24 [ish]

I recokns the time was tight to make up for the "easy" jumps ...
