Did anyone do the Stratfield Saye sponsored ride yesterday? I was hopinfg to find out the details of the photographers - anyone know?

Thank you! M&Z - did you have a good time? I was seriously doubting the ground would be OK but it was not too bad! Stunning setting - enjoyed every minute of the day. It was actually my first outing with my new horse. I wanted to see how he would behave surrounded by many others but it felt like we were the only ones there!

We were towards the end, you will see 2 pics of 4 people/horses standing behind the jump. I am on the big grey.

Thanks again for the link. I have just emailed him to ask when the water pics will be posted on his site.

I looked at the second website but it doesnt seem to be loading

Have to say was the best day ever for me and my nag! really enjoyed the ride, the scenery was amazing, we were at the end of the day and there was hardly anyone on the course, the stewards were so helpful and everyone else riding was great as well

MASSIVE thank you to the three people who gave us a lead through the stream and over the 'scary' bridge.. i was the one on the big grey baby - bit of a wimp despite her size, sorry for tanking into the back of you btw - the cows were scary!

Having said all of that it was the best behaved she had ever been - no broncing!! i think it was because everything was so calm!

Only wish this ride was on more than once a year - want to go back already!!!

I had a lovely day!! :) We do LOTS of rides but this one was probably one of the best in terms of other riders......none of the usual gangs of people bombing past! The scenery was stunning. My only slight critisism was the lack of 'medium' jumps. The straw bales were tiny but alot of the bigger options were a bit on the scary side for me.

Had a fabby day though :D

Pleased you also enjoyed. I also battled with the second website - keep trying and you will eventually get onto it. There weren't any pics of my group crossing the river. Such a shame as my mate's horse looked like she was sinking with a rather hysterical rider on her back! Would've made a funny pic!
