Anyone know why it went after dinner today - just got home to have a look and see what had gone on after it had got to 9 pages long.... and its gone along with my few comments. No slapped wrists for me from admin.... so i dont think it was me

No you havent dreamed it, I noticed that too!!!! Then looked on horsemart and there is the exact same post!!!! I must admit, I did ask her why it had been removed from here and she said there had been complaints. But nw looking on HM its gone from there too!!! It seems when you confront her about anything she backs off and removes it all!!!!! VERY DODGY by the looks of things!

yh its gone, i thinks its coz there was defamatory comments on there so admin had no choice but to remove it, made an interesting bed time read last night though!

I was just wondering where it went too, didnt see any of the posts since last night....did people question the OP then she took it off rather than answer? All very dodgy horse didnt look right on the video bless him, wonder if op and seller had some little scam going or something??? ooh makes me angry again

JR - thanks for asking.

Old girl is much better - looking for a fuss and carrots!! - but very sore in her neck and still favouring her front leg. No swelling of the leg and she has a little walk up and down the gangway and she was ok. She must be getting better as she was pulling faces at my 3rd horse Mr Schoolmaster, who is next to her, but she was not doing it with her usual guesto !

Youngster - fine - you can hardly see the wound this morn - but the snow looks like i killed a pig ! He was not lame at all and was full of his little tricks when i took him in the indoor to let off steam. He went out today and came in, in one piece.

Now the bizzare post - do you think it was one and the same person, or was it a "wind up" or was it a scam

i couldn't find it either, a little annoyed as it just got more and more interesting! i'm hoping it wasn't genuine, i'd hate a horse to be falsely advertised! good to hear your horsies are doing well in the awful weather!!

It says Access Denied to me - very Wayne's World!

I don't think they were the same people. I believed the OP.

me too, i think you have got to be abit strange in the head to come up with something like that to advertise your horse. but there are some strange ones about lol. i think the OP was genuinly upset and concerned about her horse.

I really did not follow the full jist of the post as there were so many underlying things that were just "not sitting true".

The new owner came on at one stage but the video on horsemart and the name of the OP were almost the same.. which rasied a few eyebrows. Then it was on about selling without the passport, and then about £200 quid being turned into £4K (cant remember) and if new owner could not get it she was selling it for meat £500 ????
I lost the plot then

Ooo I think I missed all the fun as usual!

Yes me too. I read the first few posts so sort of have an idea of what was going on but sounds like lots happened after I left!

Op was called Razortouch (name of horse) & seller's vid was called Razor, ie horse's name. As she'd re-passported it she could have changed it's name as well as it's age, but didn't.

My user name is my old horse's name so nothing unusual in that. If horse was called Fred it might have been fishy!

It did name the new owner very specifically - I can't see how it would the old owner trying to get more money because she listed all that was wrong with her horse and his age! probably removed as the dealer/seller was named and shamed....

Hmm I only read the first few pages of the post and believed the OP. I cant believe someone would be so cruel as to bring a horse back into work when it shouldnt be due to longterm injury.

I know charities are over run at the moment but in an ideal world I think those that cant keep their horses till the end should give them to charities so they can ensure the horse becomes only a companion.

My old instructor had an eventer that had a mental problem where he would turn dangerous and she debated over giving him away as a companion only but decided it was just too risky as often he was really good to ride and she just didnt want to risk someone getting on him and being seriously injured by him so decided to have him PTS.

I was confused last night. Remain confused about it today. One min the seller looked like she was selling an injured horse as a sound competition horse, the next doubt was on the OP as things she said just didnt add up... and then I come on to see what anyone has said since last night and nothing! Verrrrry strange! Hope the horse is okay though.

We will never know..... - but if i had been the OP - i would have defended my corner a little more when questions were raised about it being a "wind up" or a "scam".

My thoughts are (if it is true or even partially true ) with the poor horse - it makes me feel ill that people will continue to ride an injured horse - but i suppose its the same as most things i.e. its not their belly that is empty, it is not them thirsty, it is not them board to tears, or wearing a saddle that hurts.... etc

Ahh back to being a private seller then ! and age 14?

[/ QUOTE ]

i searched the horse on british eventing last night and he is 19. the current owner disagreed with me when i put this on the post last night saying that he wasnt sold with a passport so his age cant be correct on BE ( or something along those lines) but the OP said he wasnt sold with a passport as it was mislead in a house move. but when you register horse with any society you have to send of there passport to confirm details which i have just done with the bsja for my boy. which the OP would have done before it was mislead, so to conclude, he is 19

Right buffy..... sub titles for me please so horse is 19 - can understand that bit.... but do we belive OP = lost passport to New Owner = having him re- registered some how...... or are these people one and the same.... wish i was Agetha Christy... I can smell rats but never understand the plots - i am not clever enough to be devious

the OP said hes 19 this is the age her passport would have said for her to be able to register him with BE. apparantly she sold him without it but signed something with the passport agency to confirm the selling etc but not entirley sure wether you can even do that or not i dont know. i dont think they are the same person purley because another forum user (cant remember their name) was texting the owner about the horse and posting the replies on here and the owner then registered to defend herself against the OP. it was all abit strange to be honest. the name of the registered owner when he was eventing is different to the name of the current owner. im waffling to myself now

i suppose we will never know ! :grn:

Shame if it was true and even more of a shame if it were made up. (Some very kind, helpful people use this forum and its sad to think that "trolls" get any pleasure from messing about with genuine people)

haha, we did have a really bad troll problem a while back if you remember, even admin stepped in with the "DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS" which no one listened to as they kept feeding and got there hands bitten
