Fantastic to see Simon Mulholland and pony, Obama at the end of Country File on Sunday night taking Sarah , wheelchair user out along the ridge of the South Downs! My daughter has a complex disability and has been able to do this too but there is only one of these in the whole of the UK. This should be available to lots more people. I wonder what interest there is from Riding for the Disabled or other groups? any thoughts ? Would be great to see this expanded!

I agree. I have seen Simon and Obama as they sometimes use one of our local car parks. I think they are wonderful and so do the people I have seen being taken out for a drive. It would be great to see it expanded.

That's great - I think you have to see it in action to appreciate potential. The safety of it I guess may be a concern for some, especially if the pony bolts for some reason, but there is a quick release system which separated the pony from the wheelchair passenger. And I know thoroughly tested for stability etc.. I wonder what others think though and what concerns they many have?
