My neighbour buys for them and we buy for her and her GSD.

Mine have had lots of treats bought for them by friends, I just bought them all an edible hedgehog each, and it was my pleasure watching my foster dog spend his first Christmas in a home eating his and really relishing it.

A seriously big end of a seriously good piece of roast pork...complete with crackle that didn't crackle....that's the kind of present they appreciate most!
My boy dog would like to get up close and personal with my beautiful new sheepskin rug but I think he knows he might have to leave home if he mauls it..

Sounds lovely, wish we had pork! We had only turnkey.

Do you know, I have actually never once eaten turkey at Christmas? Nobody in my family has ever liked it...must try it one day to see why everyone else eats it!!
The pork was beautiful and will get some slices taken off to make sandwiches with stuffing tomorrow before the dogs get it!! :-))

Really? I do admit it's not my favourite me and I actually envy you lol. I would have preferred pork personally. :)

That is great to see, it sounds like you are making real progress with him :)

I am mean, so none of mine got presents :p Hoover and Islay came to visit the family with me, and behaved impeccably - Hoover didn't even try and eat the cavaliers :) :) :)

ah yes, Santa Paws always visits my kennels :D Everyone gets a new toy - although pampered house-dog also got a new bed and the turkey neck and giblets.

CT -I am agog and aghast that on of your dog’s gifts appears to be a ‘Pedigree’ product :o ;) :p :D

Mine had a couple of toys and chews... She had the turkey neck yesterday but has spent the whole day on the sofa feeling rather flat because she's 2 weeks into her season :(

Yes, Skye got a few bits and pieces. A new collar and treats etc. she got treats and a toy from my sister. My mum got some turkey and cranberry treats for her too and the brilliant thing was she wrapped the gift!!!!

yes. our Dalmatian, Lottie had a new collar, a filled bone and lots of treats from other family members. Lottie loves opening presents and was very excited this morning. She started pacing the living room when my daughter was opening hers and tried to 'help' her open them, so I had to give her some to open too :D

I know, horrifying! It's the neighbour's sister's gift, I'm afraid they normally go in the bin :(
