Been riding in western tack for years, but have just bought new english saddles for 2 of my horses, just need to get a numnah now for them but there are soooo many!
Fleece lined, padded, sheepskin, high wither, non slip, thick ones, thin ones & the list goes on!

I want a simple numnah that wont rub if i choose to ride my horse for a few hours trail riding in the english saddle, and look good enough for the odd competition & of course not break the bank.

Think its going to have to be a thin one as i dont want my new fitted saddle on top of a huge thick numnah.

Are there any benefits to a sheepskin one as opposed to a normal one?
Any recomendations for makes etc.

I really like the Griffin hi-wither saddlecloths with half wool lining as not so bulky as some of the sheepskin ones.
And like the fact they never pull down on the wither :)

Thanks Jacksmum, will have a look at those.
Another question, i have 17.5" saddles, presuming this is going to be a full size numnah?
