We had the diesel stolen from our lorry in Upper Basildon, either Friday or Saturday night (16-17th October). Be warned! Didnt hear or see anythnig, but when we drove it off to a show first thing on Sunday moring it had an empty tank...

Carry a spare set of fuel filters then - it's really not good for lorries to have empty tanks apparently (as I found out when my fuel filter got blocked) - water condenses on the inside of the tank (because they sit about for days on end) and gets sucked up into the fuel pipes when you start the engine, and then it won't run properly because this blocks the fuel filters. I was told this at length by the mechanic who rescued me and now do not leave the fuel tank empty any more!
