Hi all,
My pony had mild laminitis at the start of July; on vet's instructions, he was box-rested, taken off hard feed, given soaked hay and limited turnout. Mid-July vet said he could come back into work / turnout, farrier confirmed hooves were fine, so that's what we have done. However, he feels as if he has no energy
and after about 20 or 30 minutes of walking, he feels knackered. Can I reintroduce a little hard feed, if so, what? Or should I be using oil instead...
Thanks for reading and Japanese rice crackers for posting sensible responses
