I own a 14hh pony who has been barefoot since May 2014 with no issues. She had a very easy transition and within a matter of days was comfortable on almost any surface. However, she is still not completely comfortable on rocks, so I was wondering if a change of diet might help.

She is currently on:
1/2 scoop of mole valley's own cool mix
1 scoop Dengie Alfa A original
(Yes I am aware that this is basically a barefoot nightmare - hence why I am changing it!)

After some research and looking a previous threads on here, I have decided to alter her feed to:
Allen + Page Fast Fibre
Dengie Hi-Fi Molasses free (probably just for a few months to help with transitioning but will see how it goes)
Pro balance supplement (if necessary going onto pro hoof)
Linseed as and when necessary (heavy workload, needs more condition, during the winter etc.)

Does this sound like a suitable diet for my pony? Anything else that I should be adding? or shall I transition her onto this diet and see how she goes? Also about how long does it take to see an improvement in the horse?

Thanks very much
