Difference between NS Universal and 3 Ring Dutch Gag

Hi. Please can anyone enlighten me on the differences between NS Universal and 3 Ring Dutch Gag. TIA

NS Universal is a 2 1/2 ring as opposed to a proper 3 ring. Its also made with NS's patented Salox metal. Depends also which mouthpiece you are looking at. Jeffries do a very good copy called the Eldonian Universal, its the same 2 1/2 ring with lozenge link and the mouthpiece is 90% copper.
