Differences Hay bar and Eezhay

I tried haybars and took them out. the horses just pulled all the hay onto the floor, might as well have put it there to begin with. I've just given three away to a friend who wanted them. I wouldn't have them again.
 
Thanks but I have tried and my horse is fine with them.

Just wondering which one would be better value for money and what the differences are. She does go through a lot of hay at night :)

I'd never heard of the Eezhay so had a quick google. Apart from the slightly different shape, isn't it essentially the same thing? Eezhay does appear to be bigger according to the measurements and the prices look pretty similar too. It almost boils down to whether you want a fancy colour or not;)
 
I have blue industrial barrels well washed with the tops cut off. They stuff full of hay very nicely, with holes drilled in the bottom you can dampen the hay. The horse can't get stuck in them, they are easy to wash, and best of all they are free!
 
I have both.
Id say the eezehay is smaller in hight. It doesn't come away from the wall as much but as i don't really fluff my haylage up it still fits loads in. (i literally but in a whole giant flap)
 
i have an eezhay - very pleased with it. Fits enough hay for what i need and my ld never pulls it out onto the floor. He just stands happily munching away :)
