Different loose ring snaffles (ns)

Hi,

Pony is currently in a Neue Schule Starter bit , I struggle with the contact and he is very argumentative and resistant in his mouth (nice big muscle under his neck too). This is all being worked on with the help of my new super instructor and we have seen great progress in the last 4 weeks.

I've been looking on the neue schule website and I was wondering about the trans angle lozenge snaffle but my question is can the differences between 2 loose ring lozenge snaffles - like the starter bit and the trans angle lozenge really have enough of an impact to be worth spending the money on a new bit?

Will be chatting with my instructor but was just wondering if people thought there was much of a difference between such similar bits?

can i say that i have phoned and spoke to them and the lady at the bit bank and she was briliant and listened to what my horse was like. she advised the team up bit for mine.

i would def suggest phoning them
