I know that Troxel do a cowboy hat style safety hat. I'm not sure its available in the UK yet though

I used to be Head Girl on a western riding centre and we had some stetson style hat covers made to fit on jockey skull caps, they looked ok, but when I ride western now with a hat I'd rather wear a plain black velvet hat or jockey skull with black silk.
