Hello again!

Everytime I need to take my horse somewhere she refuses to load.. After about an hour or so.. She gets in with a massive fuss and then is really sweaty

We've tried food, opened the box up completely, a lunge line. Any more ideas?
It's not just a one way thing either she refuses to get in the box when we want to leave.

Please help?

Thanks in advance
:)

I would either get Richard Maxwell

or start by feeding her near the lorry or weeks/months gradually putting it on the ramp. Is she scared or stubborn about loading or has she had a bad experience in a lorry or trailer?

I would find out why she is like this before tackling the problem

I second the Richard maxwell suggestion. I am at the other end of the country so couldn't get him but studied his pressure and release technique and followed it and ended up wwith an easy to load horse.

Thank you so much :) I googled him and tired his techniques this morning, I also used food and she walked straight in. Thanks for your advice :) I think she was just getting used to it

Try loading her and just leading her through, or feeding her in there and taking her out again! Repeatedly! So that she doesn't just associate it with long journeys and work, but with dinner!
