went to burnham today, had entered the 70cm but changed to the 85cm
ages and ages to wait and literally had to walk him round for an hour so frustrating as people kept adding their numbers on the board and then they decided to have a break between classes.
Anyway got him going and he jumped them all great, there were a ncie range of fences jumping through/into woods, a very large ditch for that size class and a step into water and a fiddly route at the steps. He was so so good
trotte tp the ditch and he went right slow looked down at it then leapt really high!!
Going up to the water was awkward as you were jumping towards the "jumps in" if that makes sense as you dont normally jump the course from that way and you had two options, either jump the right hand side which is a rather large step(never had one that big at into/pn!) and be safe or jump the small side which slopes down towards "home", decided as i hadnt even jumped a step into water that it was safe to aim left but for some reason i didnt end up near the complex he shot left (looking at the video looks like it was the photographer who was crouched on the step beside mine. Anyway just trotted round and reaimed and he jumped straight in well kinda fell all awkward
So so happy with him though he was confident and really enjoyed it .
