well we went to do the 2ft7 something i think it was and it was a nice course, except the second fence was off a curve into a skinny which he wiggled into but jumped

he had a lovely clear round its the biggest course he has done and the first one he has cantered all the way around, he was fantastic.
To be honest i would have left it there as i was so happy with him, espeically as he jumped yesterday as well; but as it was PC i had to jump off whichmeant i had to wait ages.
I was the last to go in and he jumped the first 3 nciely (nearly jumping me off over no.3) then came to the double off the side of the arena he jumped the first part and ran out at the second.....dont know whther it was the rubbish rider on top, or the light shining through the slats on the side. he didnt really want to know, looking at the video the first round he did jump it slightly to the right; but its not like him to run out.
Anyway im going to put that to the back of my mind as he was impeccably behaved today and am so pleased with him, now he is more confident he definatly needs something 2ft6 plus.

loads of piccys and videos later

i have just spoken to my instructor who is our PC trainer and she said the horse after him did the exact same thing, she said as they walked the course immediatly after my round for the next class the light was shining through onto that doube to make it look like there was something between the fences, alomst like a water tray. So it may well of been that, or a combination of that and a bad line. I dontknow-very hard to tell from the video. now trying to upload the video!
