I was wondering if you lovely HHO's could tell me what digital cameras you use / would recommend?

It would mostly be used for taking piccies of horses (obviously!) and needs to be able to take decent videos.

I've currently got a Kodak M753 which cost me £100 but has turned out to be a bit sh!te. It's got a low optical zoom which means when I'm zooming in videoing dresage tests the pic is very grainy. It's flash is also quite crap and any pic that isn't close up is quite grainy and out of focus.

So, give me your recommendations please!

I have an IXUS ( I think that's canon) and I bought a bigger chip card thingy for it, so I can take over four minutes video.

This is what its like, this is not the longest one it can take.

I find it dead easy to transfer things to computer etc.

I've got a bog stadard Kodak - easyshare LS743; zoom isn't brilliant but I took this from the middle/top third of the stands at Hickstead:
