As some of you may know Patrick has a bad back at the moment due to his saddles. Now I am having the saddles done next Wed and am trying to arrange a physio to come out and see him asap. However my next BD is on 31 Mar and the entires close tomorrow, do I risk entering with the hope that everything is sorted or do I give this one a miss and aim for the next one? I can't really afford to lose £30 if it all goes wrong but on the other hand if P is all fixed by then I'll kick myself for not entering. The next one is on 21 Apr so ages away. Opinions please

Well horses being horses, you can guarentee which ever option you pick, they will ensure it is the wrong one! Personally I wouldnt enter, purely because if he has had time off he probablly wont be on form; so it could be a waste of time anyway!

Yes I know, I have been pessoaing (is that a word?!

) him to keep the fitness levels up but obviously haven't ridden. I usually find he comes back from a break working better than before but as you say you can guarantee that won't happen this time if I decide to enter. Horses who'd have 'em

Ooooh difficult one.

Is this for Bluegate? Didn't realise entries closed today!

I'd go for it. It's a couple of weeks away and have faith that all will be fixed

Have managed to book physio for 23rd so think I'm going to gamble and enter. Probably find out he needs a long course of treatment now

If it all goes wrong I'll pass the entries onto you

Done - so I'll let you know if any problems and you can take my entry. Or get your bum in gear and sort your entry out and I'll meet you there again
