I'm in a quandry. Currently competing my 15.1 con x tb gelding (just rising 11) at Pre-Novice level. He's been very consistent at Intro, placed nearly everytime with all but two being DCs. At PN, he's been placed in 3 out of the 6 he's done, with a few DCs too.
I'm wanting to move up to BE Novice, but I don't think he can take it. I think he'll feel overfaced, as a couple of the very up-to-height PN jumps he's done have been less than comfortable! Do I just trundle on with PN or do I sell him and get something which is more suited to doing Novice?
And if I did decide to sell him, what kind of price should I be looking for him? He's an aboslute gem to own (which is why I'm reluctant to part with him) and has been consistently good at sj, xc and dressage.
I am stumped as to what to do.
