Dim question - going to ebay myler combi bit, but cant recall how you measure a bit!

As above really, I always have a mental blank on this for some reason. Almost too embarassed to ask, but it would be a nightmare if I get it wrong lol

I think,but dont quote me on this,its from the inside of the rings??
Why not take a picture of the bit with a tape measure underneath it????
