He is ball obsessed (that was going to be obvious) and he throws them at your feet aswell as raggies, so indoors (this is the rule of my home) no toys, its time to relax
Outdoors you can run till you die of exhaustion
so he literally had little interest in other dogs on walk but recalls for ball forever and a day, tomorrow I may try recall with no ball, I know he wont do a runner but still would be interested if he would come back without the ball.
He is very clever and typically cunning like a collie (wouldbe fab for fly ball.
He hated the halti at first but because im a "you will have to remove the features from your face with those paws" before the halti comes off kinda gal, he now accepts the halti I would have got check chain but relalise the halti is more user friendly for a new owner to use, so the pulling is no longer, he now has a brand new black collar, halti and halti lead
He is fine in the car and settled well, he is now sleeping, but he does try his luck and tries to have a conversation with yout to get your attention, u can use OH's method of ignore which does work after a while but he is persistant or mine "lie down now" method, of which he hits the deck no argument.
He is not greedy and proceeded to hide his food, he got 5 minutes to decide whether to eat and I removed it, he is slender but then most collies areor atleast should be with the amount of exercise they do, so would be nice to get a little weight on, if not it would not worry me he remains as he is.
