Disappointed daughter

Daughter was due to go hunting today for the first time. She was so excited.

BUT she spent last night in hospital with suspected appendicitis!

It appears to have come to nothing and she should be allowed out at tea time.

So now she's hoping to go next week for the first time

It's been dry and bright here all day and I was thinking what a pity it was that she had missed it. Presumably you have rain?

Poor soul, she must be disappointed! Still, on the bright side at least she doesn't have nasty appendicitis, and there's still next week. Hope it's a bit drier!

Boxers, I'm sorry your daughter didn't make out today. If she was due to be out with with us (no names on open forum please) she missed the 8' dyke after the hedge (most did) and the dyke:gate double. So perhaps a bit fierce for a first day out but a young girl on her 2nd day ever did the 8 footer.

OMG Eagle - I'm glad she missed them!

I'm sure she would have been fine though if she had gone - her pony seems bold so I think he would have followed everyone else.

She might make it next week hopefully.
