Got up early as was going to Eccleshall Show to have my first ever go at a WH class (only 2'3"), cleaned and plaited Pidge. Got Pidge, Sunny and Angel on the lorry and off we went, got to the showground and it was like a mud bath
the show area was extemely muddy and deep so we turned round and came home (not the only ones to do this either!) without even getting the horses off the lorry. Bit fed up as had been up most of the night as was sooooo nervous - couldn't get my head to deal with it as a showjump then bit of dressage! So unloaded etc and me, Sis and Lou decided to go to Scope Festivel - only 5 mins if that from home. God they are good horses and riders! So instead of paying out £6 a class at show I bought 3 new Joules tops for £90 to cheer myself up - credit card said ouch!
Fingers crossed Stafford Show is ok or I will be like a bear with a sore head at work on Monday.
