Just wondered if anyone knows of a good (but not ridiculously expensive!) make of numnah that will sit discreetly under a forward cut jumping saddle for use in working hunter classes? I'm struggling to find any middle ground between neat and tidy but straight cut working hunter saddle numnahs and big untidy general numnahs. Or is my best bet just to buy a numnah but just a size too small?

many thanks :D

will you horse let you ride without one altogether?

If not it is perfectly acceptable in WH to have the fluffy sheepkin ones or a normal plain numnah (normally colour to match your horse).

I wouldn't go a size smaller as it will sit on his whither and rub

If you get those sort of fluffy brown ones you might even be able to get a bigger one and trim it into shape? Not sure though it might look a bit cr*p round the edges unless you have a sewing machine
