Disgusting video

Not going to link to it as it is truly horrible but I have just seen a video circulating on Facebook of a camel being slaughtered in the middle of a busy town with a huge group of people, including children, standing around watching! Has anybody else seen it? Why on earth would people do that? Is there a religious reason behind it does anybody know?

I didn't actually realise what it was to begin with, I wish I hadn't watched it as I actually feel physically sick now and I didn't even watch the whole thing.

If you think that's bad, take a look at the one for camel slaughter in a Saudi Arabia slaughterhouse. That is truly horrific - all the camels climbing over the bodies of the dying ones and dead one trying to escape.
