I tend to do my wooden stables on a really hot day and use blacks which stinks. I use a powered jet hose. I choose good warm weather with a nice bit of wind and I want the stables to dry quickly and not lock any further bacteria into the wood.

I normally buy a gallon container from a supermarket, the cheapest they have & use that. When the weather is bad & floors won't dry I use Jeyes Binfresh, the powder jeyes that is normally used in wheely bins. Just sprinkle, leave for a while & then broom up.

Virkon..... you only need one sachet and its a proper disinfectant not just something that smells good from the supermarket.

Please follow the instructions though as its powerful!
