Displacement Colic

Hello, has anybody got any information on displacement colic? Personal stories, good or bad. Thanks x

My TB displaced his large colon, managed to flip it up and get it stuck over his spleen if I recall correctly!

He spent five days at vets, which involved being starved and lunged every two hours to try and flip it back. It did after a couple of days and he was absolutely fine apart from losing a tonne of weight!!

Yes had one, it was rough trailer ride and see if he got better, or rough trailer ride straight to the kennels. Luckily, rough trailer ride did it and horse was fine. FYI I've also had one not so lucky
