After convincing myself to get a grip over my nervousness I had decided book myself in for lessons and emailed a riding centre to see if they could help and they said they could. Phoned up last week to book myself in and they can only fit me in 10am on a Thursday and that's it! Slight problem of work gets in the way =(

They are open until 7 pm and still can't fit me in only this one day and time. What am I going to do now? It was an hours drive away not sure I can fit in the time to drive further.

Any ideas?

Oh and I did manage to start the pilates which I enjoyed but have had to miss this week as I am ill.

Tea and cake (chocolate) for those who make it through my post

Do you have your own horse, or use of a quiet horse to have lessons on at home? Perhaps another riding school may have more availability?

:)Good Luck xx

you can PM me if u like I struggled a lot with nervousness a few yrs ago and was recommended some fairly cheesy but effective books :)

Thanks for your reply Mr VTRNH. Yes I do have my own horse whom has been on rest since getting a chip fracture in his hock in April of this year and I was told to give him at least 6 months off to recover which then brought us into winter. We moved to private fields from a nightmare livery yard of bitching just after he sustained his injury in his stable and now don't have any facilities. Don't really have access to anything quiet enough for my liking.

Another riding school will be over an hours drive away which is a it too far. Thanks again =)
