Good evening all.

As part of my final year of the degree of Equine Business Management a dissertation has to be completed in order to obtain Honors. My dissertation aims to investigate a possible relationship between social class and consumer behaviour in order to aid companies in tailoring their marketing strategies

To complete my survey, please download the document in the link below (top left hand side of the page should have a 'download' option), and follow the instructions of how to complete and submit the form on the first page of the document.

It shouldn't take any longer than 15 minutes to complete, and your response will be highly valuable to my dissertation.

If you have any problems with downloading it, let me know ASAP on this post or PM me, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can to try to rectify your problem.
Any questions about it, PM me on here, or e-mail eb.dissertationqueries@hotmail.com

Many thanks
Lizzie :)

Brilliant, thank you very much. No problem about not competing, it's just to allow for the variety of responses as some people may have preferred brands for different activities. Thanks again.

If anyone is put off by the time required to do this survey - don't be. Very simple multiple choice questions and only actually takes about 5 mins to do, if that. :D xx

Thank you Shetties :D

I conducted a pilot study and the longest time taken to do it was 15 minutes by just one person. Most others found it very quick and easy to do.

I've done it but although the questions were simple and easy to understand I found the method a bit clunky. There seem to be loads of other online surveys done through e.g Survey Monkey that are easier and don't require you to download an attachment, edit it and save then re-attach then send. Unless there is another way and I'm being dim (which is quite possible) :)

I also kept accidentally moving questions around and if you don't highlight the space and type into it the text moves out of alignment. Hope you don't mind the feedback - I know it's v. difficult having done them myself :)

Hi there, I had another response about surveymonkey in comp riders. I replied this..

"I have tried survey monkey, but due to the nature of this questionnaire requiring a few open ended responses, I was unable to use it due to 'fraud' risks, along with it being longer than their maximum free service allows. I have exhausted every possible online survey outlet, and I am able to do whatever I want on them, and get a mere 10 responses for having to pay through the roof to 'upgrade'. A lot of the online survey providers don't seem to allow for many responses, and I seem to be getting a steady response from the e-mailing system."

Don't worry about the text and alignment shifting, I have to do the data input for each one individually anyway, so as long as I know what the answers are it isn't a huge issue.

My laptop has very nearly been launched across the room at several stages of trying different systems online. I'd got one all completed and ready to go, very easy to use, and then when I pressed 'Launch', it said "Maximum 10 responses, £29.99 a month thereafter" :( My module leader suggested the e-mailing system, and although it is not ideal, it is better than nothing right now.

Thank you for the feedback though, can't wait till February to have it all finished and bound!

This is gonna sound really stupid but, how do you do it :o

Not stupid at all.

If you click the link in my original post, it will take you to something that looks like a word document (but online). In the top left hand corner there should be an option to 'download' it. Click on that, and save it to your computer/laptop. There are instructions on the first page of the document of how to fill it in, and how to return the completed questionnaire to me.

I hope that helps, if you are struggling with downloading it, you can always PM me your e-mail address and I will e-mail you the document, and again just follow the instructions on the first page.

Ahh ok, Thanks :D

Box of frogs, once it's downloaded, when you open it a box should pop up at the top where you can select 'edit' or something like that.
