Dissertation Questionnaire Please Fill In

If I were you, I would restart your request by giving a little bit of information on who you are, what your survey is about and why you would like people to fill it in - what, if any, benefit would the results give to those who fill it in. i.e. are the results to be put towards the development of new products for the equestrian community?



This is the first time you have posted on the forum, so a little netiquette wouldn't go amiss :)
 
I have just tried it again and it has worked on my computer. You have to select the finsihed sorting box after question 17 and 18

Before I try and fill it in, I would like to know where it is for, what it is for, what level of qualification you are aiming for. Tbh I found the 'introduction' of yourself and your dissertation rather brusque and while I quite accept that you believe what you are doing is important, give us a clue as to why we should potentially waste our time.
 
Also I gave it a try, but it is not very well constructed, it did not ask me if I wore a body/back protector and it made it unclear as to whether the questions were about hats or back protectors.
 
Done, and had no problem with the survey. I also thought your introduction at the start of the survey was fine. Just a little brief on here. I must have been doing a different survey to you guys - thought it was perfectly clear what each question was asking.

My only criticism was the "in order of importance" bit - some of the answers didn't have any importance to me, such as what friend or instructor suggested, so I just slotted "other" in above everything that didn't matter to me. It would have been good to have a comment box at the end to say that. Most surveys could be improved with a small additional comments section.
 
I am filling it in, but I'd like to lodge a protest at the use of the phrase "recommended off". Things are recommended by people...
 
Sorry If you thought my introduction was brief . I'm studying equine studies and business management to gain a degree. My dissertation is about consumers choices and behaviour when purchasing hats and body protectors to see if fashion has a higher influence over protection in the equine industry . Thank you for your comments regarding the question layout as they will all be taken into account . Just a shame that some people have to be so harsh when I didn't actually do anything wrong . Im not forcing anyone to take part just asking if people had time to . Thank you for anyone who has responded and given be constructive criticism towards the layout and questions .
 
Survey did not work properly - and also would be more compelling if we knew what you were trying to achieve by poting it - clearly a safety thing going on in terms of people's perceptions of safety....maybe?

Thanks Bethany - just seen this - My regard for my children's safety is higher than my own - would always ensure that they had the right hat and back protector for what they are doing - the racing ind now demands that stable staff wear at all times, riding out and galloping for example.....I am a bit old fashioned (bought up in the days when wearing a hat was not compulsory - but these days when riding a young horse, I make sure that my chin strap is fastened - don't do that with my old horse (more fool me.......)
 
Ranking system not working for me so cannot submit answers, although I did try.

Also an introduction of yourself and your study to the forum may help gain more responses.
 
I found you had to click, hold and move to rank, then click on the bit at the bottom to say you had finished ranking. No instructions about doing it though and it was trial and error to find out though.
