Disturbing video

Am I the only one to be utterly disturbed by this video:-

Its bad enough they force this action in the first place, but to do this to a RISING 2yo is just dreadful. Please someone shoot the owner!

That first one was not pleasant viewing, the strain on that horse's joints must be horrendous. His hind legs just looked wrong (never mind the front ones, which were ridiculous!), almost like they were going to give way a couple of times? In fact it was almost to my eyes as though the horse was a cut and shut, with the front of one horse and the back of another.

I agree, there's something definitely wrong with the way the horse is moving it's legs. It looks so stiff in the neck too.

After watching some related videos it seems that there's a lot of horses that walk in the same manner. It's quite distressing to see actually, one looked as though it wanted to buckle under itself.

Couldnt agree more about the hind legs. They really looked like they were going to give in at any minute. Poor thing...

i actually watched a thing on you tube that showed how they done it they put stuff on legs to like blister the skin then wrap chains around fetlock area (blistered bit) and they were platform weighted shoes its horrific all to get that stupid walk what a******s

I just did a small mouth sick. It's horrific. The angle of the back legs....how high and tense his neck is..... I disagree with every aspect of big lick TWH, so so cruel. How on earth has the progression from the second video to the first video been made?!!

thats awful, i think it ok to ask them to move like that in very short bursts (and i mean 3or4 strides) but not like that up and down the field. it's says coming 2 not even 2 and personaaly i don't like a horse backed under 3 and a half!!! stupid people

I have seen videos like this before it is one of the most perverse things they sore the legs with something that makes it painful so they pick thier feet up quickly.

They put chains on them and weird platform shoes it is so unatural and how anyone who owns a horse can do this to them i really dont know.

There are organisations trying to stop all this so that is a good thing but that video and that horses gait and way of going is not natural and can only be achieved by cruelty.

Thank god there are now people in the usa where this sport is popular speaking up and showing walking horses in a natural state and it is being recognised as cruel, when you hear what they do these horses to achieve this it makes you wonder about mankind, why would you want to take an animal that has such grace and beauty in its natural way of going and contort harm and perverse all that power and elegance it is a very sad sight and shows the ignorance and arrogance of man.
