OK so I've decided, with help from the forum to keep stabling my mare at night. YO opened a new field last night as a Christmas present to all the horses, hasnt been grazed since Feb. Well you can imagine, mare wasnt at gate, walked over to get her, turned nose away from headcollar, head down grazing. So I walk back, leave her out (she had a massive feed in the morning) I get home..........AND IT SNOWS
So as I lay tucked up in bed I think about her poor frozen nose, and her face crying tears of snow cus I left her out. Just waiting til its light to go and get her in, god she makes me feel guilty!!
