Hi,

I'm looking very urgently for a DIY/assisted livery in central Oxford for my 8 year old gelding, 17.3hh. He is used to be out during the day, in at night (winter). I'm used to do all the work but need occasionally help in the mornings/holidays. As I don't have a car I'm looking for a yard close to central Oxford.
Please help as I'm very desparate to move my horse!

Thank you!
Ariann

Depending where in central Oxford you are you might struggle. There is a small yard on Abingdon road that do liveries very cheap, and it's as close to city centre as you will get but that entire area of the city was hit so badly in floods a few weeks ago that I would not be sure about their fields at moment (I could be wrong). There is a good yard in Elsfield (near Marston) that has excellent care, that's a bit of a cycle though (drift equestrian). The other yards I know are all too far out of the city without a car I'm afraid, although there is a lady who rents fields and stables just near cycle path in Marston but there are no facilities. I found it a real struggle to find a yard close to the city. There is an Oxfordshire equestrian group on Facebook where it might be worth putting up an advert.
