as part of my relocating, i need to find diy or grass livery (or indeed just a field with a stable that someone might own and want to rent!), in and around bracknell/reading. If anyone can help, it will be greatly received!

ps
cant afford half or full livery, been around the yards in that area and very expensive!!

There are a few in Reading. As for prices, all I can say is you'll have to get used to it unfortunately. I relocated to Reading/Basingstoke last July from the West Mids and am now paying nearly twice the price for DIY livery, half as much again for the farrier, twice as much again for lessons, shavings are so expensive I had to bed my horse on straw here!

Sorry, not much help I know... I really only know of the big ones, riding school types. Don't think my yard is taking on any DIYs and is probably too far for you anyway.

I know that Bracknell / Crowthorne way is full, I have a friend having to relocate as owners want out and she is having problems

Amners Farm, Burghfield (Junc 12)
Theres also another place in Mortimer along Welshmans Road but can't think of the name. It has a sign up offering DIY spaces. I'll try and find out if your interested.

There are also a couple of good tack shops that have lots advertised on their noticeboards as I have just been to them and can't resist a nose.
Stable Door in Burghfield
DG's Equine Supplies in Bramley.
Yell.com will have their phone numbers.
Good luck
