Just trying to get some ideas of DIY prices in the yorkshire area, and what you get for it. Also, if you have assisted DIY what are the costs for the extras? Thank you in advance x
South Yorkshire. £100 a month, DIY includes straw, individual (small) turnout and use of outdoor arena with lights. Poor hacking though, main roads and industrial estates
£10 a month extra for lorry/trailer storage - no option of assisted or any extras.
Our yard is £85.00 a month for DIY, which includes your straw and also includes your wormers/worming programme (which are obviously given through out the year) but then its the same price through the summer months when there out 24/7 but you can bring in if you wish, however they must come in on an evening Nov to April.
(extra) £1.00 each way every time for turnout/bringing in and change of rugs etc
We have an outdoor school and don't get charged for the lights.
DIY is £30 a week to include bedding and good quality hay/haylage, stable, unlimited turnout, use of two schools and lunge pen(no charge for lights), excellent hacking and parking for box/trailer.
Regular assistance would probs be a couple of quid a day for turnout/bring in
Mine are in South Yorkshire.
In winter its £30 for a pony. £36 for a horse. Includes feeding, rug change and turn out in the morning. All your hay/haylage/straw is included for that price too
Its £20 in the summer a week. Most people leave out 24/7. But you can bring in a 2 or 3 times a week if you want, but if want them in all the time at night then pay a little bit extra to cover hay/straw.
£1 a week for trailer or £5 a lorry.
They will do them no probs if your on hol, ill etc.
Includes... large stables, private electric fenced paddocks, own storage, floodlit maintained school, good hacking, owner lives on site, cctv etc.
Thankies! So if I just offered a stable and grazing and the let the owners buy their own feed, hay and bedding how much do you reacon I could ask? Not much
We're in south wales though, don't know how much prices vary here compared to yorkshire? Prices here for stable & grazing only are generally £15-20 per week.
No facilities to speak of but fab little yard, opposite competition yard with indoor school to hire
