Hi

Can you help?

I am looking for assisted DIY (need someone to bring in, in winter/do odd weekend for me) on the east side of Rugby. I am moving to Brownsover and work in Northampton (Moulton) so need a yard on the way to work.

I need all year turn out (dont mind odd day in in bad weather), an arena with a light, good fencing and good hacking. For one pony 13.2 poss two.

I dont mind what the yard is like ie big/small/farm etc. Just aslong as pony will be happy and people are reativaly nice! ;)

If you live in the area can you please help. Willing to share yard private yard (I am experienced and clean!)

I have tried Ash tree and they are full, Onely is on the wrong side of town, tower farm has no turn out in winter and tower stable hacking is not the best. Any other ideas?

Sorry for long post x

Hi, Onley fields farm isn't that far from Ash Tree, they are either side of Barby.
There is also a livery yard at Churchover which isn't far from Brownsover up towards the A5, can't remember what its called but will try to remember !

There is a yard just off of Brownsover but the hacking is dire.

Tower Farm have a really good notice board if you can get over there, plus Rugby Riding Club and Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre have got facebook pages you could post on about livery yards.
Good luck with it all:)

Have you been to see John Foxton (sp not sure his surname, but definately called John), in Newton. You could walk across the fields that adjoin his land to brownsover ......... Yard is nice enough, includes a horse walker all year turnout and school. Stables in an open barn and proper tack room and also storage for liveries
