Hi, I pay £130 a month, includes stable, good grazing, great outdoor school (only 4 years old) and owner feeds in the morning. We also get free straw included for that price. We help each other out and it works out about £2 to turn out, bring in, change rugs and feed, £5 for mucking out. Not the cheapest but is a good yard and we have great facilities including good locality and hacking. Hope that helps.

I pay £35 per week for a stable, paddock, school, hay and the owner feeds and turns out in the morning but we do bring her two horses in at night. So just shavings and feed to buy plus all the other millions of items my little cob seems to require!

I am amazed how much DIY costs vary. I haven't been DIY for yrs, but my yard is no longer doing full livery, and so if I want to stay I will go DIY. I am gonna give it a go and see how it works out. But TBH it's not working out to be that cheap when all is factored in! (Part/Full livery wasn't much more!)

I pay £90 pcm for my yard.

It's got 2 sandschools, one polyfluff 20x40, one rubber which is a bit larger, ?x55m anyway, full set of jumps, minor xc course and then the jumping paddock in the summer.

It doesn't include anything else though ie hay, bedding , TO/ BI etc. Although of course you'll get brought in / turn out sometimes for a favour which is free.

Whoever's on the yard first feeds all

That costs about £1 per horse.

I'm at a friend's private farm and pay £15 pw for stable and grazing, have a small floodlit school although the surface isn't perfect, a large riding/jumping field and all year round paddocks. Hay can be bought from the farm and we can pay the owner's daughter to bring in/muck out etc if need be although some of us muck in/pair up anyway. I am also insured to use their transit lorry which is handy. Only downsize is the hacking isn't the best, but I love the yard and wouldn't change it for the world (I even get fed a couple of times a week as they live on site !!!)
