Just out of curiosity really but how much do you pay for DIY livery in the Cumbria/Scottish Borders type area and what facilities do you get use of?
Ideally I will be looking for something with a stable, locked tack room, all year grazing and an outdoor/indoor arena.
Thanks guys

(Also in Stable Yard)

I'm Scottish Borders and on a very small yard (3 owners but had up to 6 at one point), We have all year turnout, stabling and access to 1500 acres of hacking. Last winter we had access to a shed for shelter and ours lived out all winter. We also have trailer storage and a place to store hay/bedding. We don't have an arena but there is one less than 2 miles away that we have access to whenever we want it. I know we are very lucky as we only pay £15/week for all that - hencewhy I'm not budging in a hurry!

I pay £80 per week in the winter and £60 in the summer for full livery. All year round turnout (24hr in the summer) mucking out, all feed and hay. We have great hacking all round Bowhill Estate so all off road and an outdoor floodlit school. The DIY liveries pay £50 in the winter for a stable, grazing, hay and bedding and £30 in the summer. We are near Selkirk/Galashiels/Melrose/Hawick. Bowhill Stables www.bowhill-stables.co.uk
