I'm moving to COggeshall, Essex in June this year and need to find somewhere to keep my 3 ponies...can anyone help? Ideally I would like to find a 3-4 acre field to rent, but I know that'll be fairly hard so I'm happy for suggestions of friendly yards. thank you

Theres a couple along the road where the abbey is - think Abbey farm and abbey house (?) in coggeshall, i don't have numbers anymore sorry but these are diy livery yards which you could google.

I used to be at Abbey Farm in Coggeshall a few years ago which is owned by Anthony Brew. I quite liked it, was always quite friendly when I was there. Not perfect (which yard is?!?) but certainly not a complete disaster!

Katie is lovely, they didnt have a manege when i was there but i think they do now.
Have looked at both yards but personally prefer Abbey House, good luck.

I'm at the Abbey (Katie) it's beautiful - loads grazing and we do have a school.

Neither yards at the moment have space - just to let you know. We have two ladies at the yard that both kept horses at both! Katies has more grazing, but the other has 24/7 turn out through out the year.

There are a few others in the area - Church Farm being the closest.

Thank you for your post.

So to be clear there is 'The Abbey' (run by Katie) and there is 'Abbey Farm' (run by Andrew Brew)? both of which are full up?

I don't need space till June/July 2012 but i guess i need to pull my finger out and get my name on the waiting lists!

I have Katie's number, but I do not have Andrew's number if you have it handy?

THANKS
